Privacy policy

Last updated 12 October 2026. Applies to the Job Application Tracker Android app and this website.

What the app does

Job Application Tracker reads the job-related emails in your Gmail account and turns them into a list of your applications, with their status, dates and reminders. It also offers an AI interview coach.

What is stored, and where

How AI is used

When rules on your phone can't tell what an email means, the email text is sent through our server to Anthropic's Claude to identify the company, role and status. The interview coach sends the job posting, your resume, your answers and the interview transcript to Claude to prepare questions and give feedback. Spoken answers are sent to Google Cloud Speech-to-Text to turn them into text, and the interviewer's lines to Google Cloud Text-to-Speech to create the voice. These services process the data to return a result. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Google API data

Job Application Tracker's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide the tracking features you see in the app, and is not used to train general AI models.
